The Woonsocket Community Library will have new summer hours starting May 17.  The library will be open on Monday and Wednesday from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The Library will kick off their Summer Reading Program, “Build a Better World” on June 7. Readers of all ages are invited to participate in the program.
Studies show that students can lose two months of reading skills if they do not read over the summer.  Joining the summer reading program is a great way to help your student retain their reading knowledge and earn some fun prizes as well.
You may see some additional changes in the library throughout the summer as well, as we begin the process of automating our entire collection of books, and work to do some re-arranging of the library.
