On Saturday, Feb. 3, the Wessington Springs/Woonsocket wrestlers went to Ft. Pierre to compete in the Big Dakota Conference Tournament. Freshman Tyler Eddy was the lone Blackhawk to place, earning second in the 160-pound weight class. His only loss for the day was in the championship match against Dawson Semmler, a senior from Parkston.

Although, the Blackhawks only had one wrestler place, the whole team earned eighth place out of 23 teams, so all wrestlers performed well throughout the day and earned solid points for the team.
