On Tuesday, Jan. 23, the Lady Blackhawks traveled to Alexandria to take on the Hanson Beaverettes. The ladies held on pretty close for the first quarter with a score of 10-18 at the end of the first, but then the Beaverettes took control and the first half ended with the SCW Lady Blackhawks down 19-42.

Things didn’t really come to life for the girls during the second half and they ended the game with a score of 41-77.

In home court action, the Lady Blackhawks hosted Wessington Springs in Forestburg on Thursday, Jan. 25. SCW led the entire game but didn’t really start to dominate until the fourth quarter. The final score was 67-49.
