The meeting was called to order by President Rod Clarambeau at 7 p.m. on March 17.
Minutes were read and corrected. Motion by Ken Stach to approve, seconded by Ron Ruml. All aye. Motion carried.
The Treasurer’s Report was given by Bob Steckel. Motion to accept by Ron Ruml, seconded by Lila Stach. All aye. Motion carried.
Old Business: The Baby Blindauer stone is in place as per Ken Stach. Charles Sipp stone is in place. The board is still uncertain if he was a veteren and are awaiting conformation.
The board has payed 50 percent down on the Ponderosa Pine trees from James Valley Nursery. Total costs include removing old trees, planting new trees and mulch. They will be planted on the south fence line.
New Business: The Delton James grave will be getting a new stone. Ken Stach will order it.
Ken will also make a new map for the directory as the old one got wet.
Ken will fertilize and spray this year as needed.
Badgers have made many holes. Rod Clarambeau has been in contact with the state trapper to control them.
Motion by Cindy VanLaecken to have Bob Steckel paid $50 for his time taking care of the cemetery’s income tax filings, seconded by Ken Stach. All aye. Motion carried.
Lila nominated Rod Clarambeau for five years as a board member, seconded by Sandy Ruml. All aye. Motion carried.
Motion by Bob Steckel that nominations cease and to cast a unanimous ballot, seconded by Ken Stach. All aye. Motion carried
Motion by Cindy to raise the mowing rate to $350.00 per mowing, seconded by Bob Steckel. All aye. Motion carried
Bailey and Maddie Moody have accepted the position as joint care takers. They were the lone applicants.
Cindy VanLaecken will have Doug’s Custom take care of the mower maintenance.
Motion by Ken Stach to have the cemetery audited every four years starting in 2020, seconded by Sandy Ruml. All aye. Motion carried
