The regular meeting of the Woonsocket City Council was called to order by Mayor, Richard Reider at 7:00 p.m., Monday, February 4, 2019 with the following members present: Garret Foos, Joel Rassel, Brandon Goergen, Derek Foos and Arin Boschee. Darin Kilcoin was absent.
Motion by D. Foos, seconded by Goergen, to approve the agenda. Motion carried.
Motion by Goergen, seconded by G. Foos, to approve the January 7, 2019, minutes. Motion carried.
Motion by D. Foos, seconded by Boschee, to approve the Financial Statement. Motion carried.

The council had a conference call with Jeff Larson in regards to a cleanup property.
John Schmidt met with the council in regards to dogs running in town. We have received several complaints again about dogs running at large.
OLD BUSINESS
Motion by Rassel, seconded by G. Foos, to approve new playground equipment for the baseball/softball field. A donation was made by Lee Goergens’ family to be used towards playground equipment. Motion by G. Foos, seconded by D. Foos. to approve a swing set dedicated to Lee Goergen. Motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS
Mayor Reider informed the council of the Election Vacancies. Ward I, one year; Ward II, two year and Ward III, two year. Election will be held on April 9, 2019.
Mayor Reider informed the council about the municipal tax the city collected.
Motion by Goergen, seconded by Boschee, to approve the first reading of Ordinance #93-18. Fixing the salary of the Finance Officer. Motion carried.
Council discussed the lift stations.
Council discussed the streets.
Discussion was held on a picnic shelter, safety equipment and the shop work list.
With no further business to be discussed, Motion by Goergen, seconded by Rassel, to adjourn the meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 8:25 p.m.
