The week of Feb. 28 – March 4 was Read Across America Week. It is celebrated during this time every year to help celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday, which is March 2. This is to commemorate the wonderful contribution Dr. Seuss (Theodor Seuss Geisel) made to the literacy of young children and still does with his classic stories, with many being made into entertaining movies.
