The SC/W Lady Hawks experienced their first two losses of the season, coming out of the Emery/Bridgewater Tourney with a fourth place finish. SC/W won its first match of the day going 2-0 over Canistota. Set scores were 25-13 and 25-17. The Blackawks then suffered their first loss to tournament champions Hanson. Scores were 18-25 and 22-25. In the third place game, SC/W fell to Ethan, 19-25 and 17-25, to take the fourth place spot. The Lady Hawks were 9-2 on the season before this Tuesday night’s game in Wolsey.
