Sanborn Central/Woonsocket held onto their undefeated title a few more days with a Sept. 11, 3-1 win over Wessington Springs.
Set scores were 23-25, 25-19, 25-11 and 25-3.
SCW was led by Morgan Selland with nine kills and one block, Marissa Weber with 10 kills and six aces and Rachell Selland with six kills and one block. Candace Page-Marten made 18 assists and 18 digs and Rachelle Moore added 25 digs.
Wessington Springs was led by Traci Orth with four kills and an ace and Shyanne Kopfmann with three kills and eight blocks. Haley Reider had five assists and two aces and Devin Tebay had 34 digs.
SC/W moved to 8-0 after the contest. Wessington Springs went to 1-4.
