NOTICE OF ADOPTION

An Ordinance Amending the Sanborn County Zoning Ordinance No. 2012-3

Hereby take notice THAT ON THE 4TH DAY OF December, 2012, the Sanborn County Commission, County of Sanborn, State of South Dakota, adopted the following amendments to the Zoning Ordinance in accordance with SDCL 11-2 and 7-18A
Be it ordained by Sanborn County that the following amendments will be made.
Section 1501 Accessory
Buildings
No accessory buildings within the towns of Woonsocket, Artesian, and Letcher to also include the unincorporated Town of Forestburg shall have a side wall height greater than ten (10) fourteen (14) feet with the exception of buildings in Artesian which shall not exceed fourteen (14) feet.
All steel accessory buildings shall be made of colored steel, including the roofs.  Galvanized steel will not be allowed.
Passed and approved this 4th day of December 2012.

The complete file of the amendment to the Official Zoning Ordinance referred to above is on file with the Sanborn County Auditor and may be inspected, reviewed, or examined by any interested party by contacting the office at 605-796-4509.
The amendment shall be effective upon the twenty-first (21st) day after publication of this notice.  Written comments or a qualified referendum petition shall be submitted to the Auditor’s Office no later than 5:00 p.m. on the twentieth (20th)  day after publication of this notice.
