Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held before the Sanborn County Zoning Board at 9:15 a.m. November 5, 2012, in the Commissioner’s room, second floor of the Sanborn County Courthouse at Woonsocket.
This open meeting is to discuss a change in section 1501, page 81, Accessory Buildings, of the Sanborn County Zoning ordinance.
The ordinance now reads: “No accessory buildings shall have a side wall height greater than ten (10) feet with the exception of buildings in Artesian which shall not exceed fourteen (14) feet.”
This portion will be changed to read: “No accessory buildings within the towns of Woonsocket, Artesian, Forestburg, and Letcher shall have a side wall height greater than (14) feet.”
An addition to Section 1501 will also be added which will read: “All steel accessory buildings shall be made of colored steel, including the roofs. Galvanized steel will not be allowed.”
