The Woonsocket FFA and Sanborn Central FFA attended the District 6 Career Development Events (CDEs) in Redfield on March 1.
There were 542 FFA members from 20 schools represented at the event. The CDEs develop students’ abilities to think critically, communicate clearly and develop skills that they can take into their future careers.
The top 10 teams and the top 10 individuals were recognized.
Results are as follows:
Meats Evaluation – Sanborn Central, ninth place team.
Natural Resources – Sanborn Central, seventh place team.
Livestock – Sanborn Central, 10th place team; Woonsocket, fourth place team; Aaron Linke, eighth place individual.
Agricultural Business Management – Sanborn Central, fourth place team; Jessica Schmit, eighth place individual.
Horse Judging – Woonsocket, seventh place team.
