The Sanborn Central/Woonsocket volleyball team improved their record to 7-4 by defeating Wolsey-Wessington in four sets Tuesday, Sept. 24 at Forestburg.
Set scores were 22-25, 25-16, 25-22 and 25-18.
Leading the way for the Blackhawks was Marissa Weber with 19 kills, six aces and 18 digs. Myah Selland contributed five blocks and seven kills, while Savannah Swenson recorded 16 digs and seven kills.
Brittany Bergquist led Wolsey-Wessington with 13 kills and seven blocks.
Sanborn Central/Woonsocket also won the junior varsity game.
