The Town of Artesian Council met on January 8, 2014 in regular session at the Artesian Community Center. Council Member Effling called the meeting to order with Council Member Richard and Danek, Finance Officer Ebersdorfer and Tom Fridley present.
The minutes of the December 4, 2013 meeting were read; motion to approve by Danek, seconded by Richard; motion carried. Finance Officer reports were read and approval of vouchers. Motion to approve by Richard, seconded by Danek, motion carried. The following vouchers were presented for the month:

New Business: Motion by Danek, seconded by Richard, for Fridley and Effling to look for a truck with snow plow. Motion carried. Motion by Richard, seconded by Danek, to advertise for part-time, as needed maintenance person. Motion carried.
