The Sanborn Central/Woonsocket girls’ basketball team started their season with a decisive 84-32 win over Sunshine Bible Academy Saturday, Dec. 14.
The Lady Hawks were led by Shelby Selland, who racked up 25 points and 14 rebounds, while her sister, Myah, was close behind with 24 points and eight rebounds. Morgan Selland also tallied 13 points, while Rachel Selland added 10 points.
SC/W was 34-of-66 from the field and out rebounded SBA 53-25.
The Blackhawks will host Tripp-Delmont/Armour Thursday, Dec. 19 at Woonsocket.
