Myah Selland again showed her prowess with a double-double and propelled her team to a 49-36 win over Corsica/Stickney on Thursday, Feb. 4 in Forestburg.
Selland recorded 23 points and 10 rebounds, while Tayla Weber contributed seven points and six rebounds. Kayla Olson also added five points and four steals for the win.
For the Jaguars, Courtney Menning had 15 points and Alexis Tilton added 10.
The Blackhawks shot 33 percent from the field with Corsica/Stickney shooting 30 percent. SC/W won the free throw contest making 74 percent of their shots compared to 55 percent for the Jaguars.
The Lady Hawks improved to 11-4 with the win and were looking to their next game with Wolsey-Wessington on Saturday.
