In the month of October, the WEPC will be working on their plans for American Education Week, which is Nov. 14-18.
The theme has been decided as, “All American.” If anyone would like to help with this planning, please come to the next meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 5, in the Commons Area at 6 p.m.  If you are willing to be a guest reader on Wednesday, Nov. 16, please contact Carrie Howard at 796-4061 or 770-8997.
Also in October, the WEPC will be discussing plans for the Merry Mixing Day in December. If anyone has any ideas, please come to the next meeting, or contact a WEPC member.
The WEPC will be selling Krispy Kreme donuts this fall as a fundraiser to help pay for supplemental materials for the upper elementary grades, in addition to the things the WEPC pays for every year for all elementary grades, such as field trips, assemblies, prizes for the Halloween and Christmas carnivals and the DARE program for the sixth grade.  Please look for an order sheet to come home with student(s) and help the WEPC raise money for the goodness of our school and your child’s education.
Again, the next meeting will be on Oct. 5, at 6 p.m., in the Commons area.
