Blackhawks win third at 281 track meet

The Blackhawk boys and girls track and field teams both took third place in last Tuesday’s 281 Conference track meet in Huron.
The girls scored 110 points, behind JVC in first with 175 and Wolsey-Wessington in second with 164.5. The boys scored 95 points for third, behind JVC’s 197 points and the Warbirds’ 185.
Myah Selland took first in four events, the 300 hurdles, 800 run, high jump and triple jump. Caycee Guinn also won the 400 for the Blackhawks.
Spens Schlicht took first in the 300 hurdles on the boys side, while Logun Feistner won second in the 100 and 200 meter events.
The boys 1600-meter sprint medley team of Feistner, Wyatt Feistner, Schlicht and Trey Weber also took first place.
