Myah Selland and Kayla Olson, both recently graduated seniors at Sanborn Central High School, were selected as two of the area’s Elite Eight Athletes of the Year by KORN/Q107.
Selland is a repeat honoree and was selected for basketball, while Olson earned the honor on the volleyball court.
Eight Mitchell-area boy and girl high school athletes are chosen by KORN/Q107 Radio each spring as the very best in this area. Athletes from all sports are considered for the award.
The 14th Annual Elite Eight Athletes of the Year Banquet was held Wednesday, May 17, at 6:30 p.m. at the Depot in Mitchell.
