Mayor Chada called the meeting to order with Hoffman, Knutson, and Meier in attendance.
A motion was made by Hoffman, seconded by Knutson, carried, to approve the December 7th, 2016, minutes as read.
A motion was made by Knutson, seconded by Hoffman, carried, to approve the financials as presented.
Old Business:
Discussion was held on the Lagoon Project. Signed paperwork for payment #8. Still waiting for the final billing.
Discussion was held on the water sampling violation. Paper work was signed and sent in to the state.
New Business:
Went over the water sample results.
Talked about having a check list made for the community center for when people rent to make sure everything is taken care of before it is locked up.
Went over the 2017 Town Board Meeting dates.
Discussion was held on the Midway Book and the Centennial Book.
Financials:
Discussion was held on past due accounts.
A motion was made by Knutson, seconded by Hoffman, carried, to approve to close the General checking account and transfer funds to the water/sewer checking account.
A motion was made by Hoffman, seconded by Knutson, carried, to approve the following claims for payment:
WATER/SEWER: Brooks Oil $242.69 – Propane for the water house and fuel for lagoon, Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield $1,127.94 – health insurance;
GENERAL: Hoffman Digging & Well Repair $484.57 – snow removal, Sanborn Weekly Journal $432.04 – advertising minutes and budget, Quill $353.54 – office supplies, Postmaster $101.00 – postage and box rent, Ed Hoffman $315.46 – Trustee Wages, Albert & Sons Feedlot $200.00 – blading streets, Brooks Oil $325.50 – propane – community center, Mark Chada $360.16 – Trustee Wages, Shelley Knutson $221.64 – Trustee Wages.
The next board meetings will be held on January 3rd, and January 24th at 7:00 p.m. at the City Office.
