County first responders attend TIMS training

On Saturday, Aug. 24, members from the Artesian Fire Department, Sanborn County Ambulance and the Town and Country (Woonsocket) Fire Department attended a Traffic Incident Management class. With the increasing number of emergency responders getting injured and killed at accident scenes, this training enables the responders to work the scene safely while also keeping the public safe from further accidents. The emergency responders would like to remind everyone to please slow down when approaching an emergency scene; they want to get home as much as you do.
