On Monday, May 2, the kindergarten and first-grade students at Woonsocket Elementary invited their male role models to the school to show their appreciation for how they have influenced their lives in a positive way. The following Monday, May 9, they did the same thing for female role models in their lives. They did activities with them including fishing and reading with the males and coloring or reading with the females. The students sang songs in small groups for the ladies, and they served snacks at both sessions. The kindergarten class is taught by Mrs. Kylie Pauly, and the first graders are taught by Mrs. Kacee Polly.
