Peggy Starr, 60, died Monday, Oct. 8 in her daughter’s residence at Mitchell.
Memorial services were held Saturday, Oct. 13 in the Foothills Bible Fellowship Church, Wessington Springs. There was no visitation.
Peggy was born on May 4, 1952 at Wessington Springs to Harry and Evelyn Teeslink. She attended Wessington Springs High School.
Peggy lived in the Wessington Springs area the majority of her life and worked 27 years at Van Dyke Supply in Woonsocket. She loved playing cards and bingo, going to rummage sales and spending time with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her five daughters, Malisa (Rodney) Jones of Mt. Vernon, Tangela (Darrin) Uttecht of Woonsocket, Amy (Chad) Weber of Sioux Falls, Jennifer (Ron) Hill of Mitchell and Gina Cross of Killen, Texas; 15 grandchildren; two brothers, Charles (Judy) Teeslink of Iroquois and Jack (Sue) Teeslink of Wessington Springs; two sisters, Sheryll (LeRoy) Schlenker of Rapid City and Nyla Reider of Lead; and one brother-in-law, Marvin Reiners of Black Hawk.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Lloyd; three sisters, Phyllis Ness, Janice Reiners and Karen Willman; a sister-in-law, Lila Teeslink; and three brothers-in-law, Odin Ness, Robert Willman and Dennis Reider.
