Channing Lane Smith and Micah Richard Nordin were married on Saturday, July 7, 2012, in Holy Family Catholic Church, Mitchell with Rev. Larry Regynski officiating.
Parents of the couple are Jeff and Lynne Smith, Mitchell, and Richard and Patricia Nordin, Lake Lillian, Minn. Grandparents are Bill and Sheryl Ischen, Artesian and Jon and Kaye Smith, Alexandria.
Maids of honor were Kendell and Kaihlen Smith. Bridesmaids were Olivia Matthys, Elizabeth Spaans, Blythe Johnson, Paige Smith and Brooke Cersosimo. Flower girls were Mallory Smith and Zoe Brownlee.
Best men were Joe and Jake Nordin. Groomsmen were Ryan Isaacson, Andrew Keel, Chase Smith, Jordan Gau and Tony Axtell. Ushers were Peyton, Pierce and Reid Smith, Tyson Gau, Eric Ellingworth and Nick Weber.
A reception was held in the Ramada Inn, Mitchell.
The bride holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Augustana College, Sioux Falls. She is a registered nurse at Avera McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls.
The groom holds a bachelor’s degree in social studies from Augustana College, Sioux Falls. He is a teacher at Sioux Falls Roosevelt High School.
The couple will live in Sioux Falls.
