The Weerts were part of a group that put a roof on a church in Cameroon.
Pastor LeShea Avery, Joyce Olson, Hunter Avery and Mary and Eugene Weerts dressed in African attire. There was a special offering for the Cameroon Roof Project.
Brody Uecker, son of Jeremy and Ashley Uecker of Artesian, was baptized during the service.
Kayden and Avery Turner, daughters of Kelly Olson and Jason Turner of Artesian, were presented Bibles. There were many African items on display for silent auction bids.
