March 6, 2013
The Town of Artesian Council met on March 6, 2013 in regular session in the Artesian Community Center. Council Member Effling called the meeting to order with Council Members Danek and Finance Officer Ebersdorfer and Tom Fridley present.
The minutes of the February 6, 2013 meeting were read. Motion to approve by Danek, seconded by Effling, motion carried.   Motion by Danek, second by Effling, to approve the Financial Statement and approval of vouchers as presented by Ebersdorfer. Motion carried.

Lagoon: No change.
Streets:
Sewer/Garbage: Reviewed accounts receivable and discussion was held on past due accounts.
Pool: Motion by Danek, second by Effling, to offer the lifeguard position to Lara Brink.  Motion carried. Pool to open May 25, 2013.
New Business: Equalization meeting will be held March 18, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the Artesian Community Center. Motion by Danek, seconded by Effling, to accept December 31, 2013 year end financial statements. Motion carried. Danek made a motion to accept lowest bid for mowing from Ryan Pearson, seconded by Effling. Motion carried.  Motion by Danek for landlords to be responsible for utility charges on rental property, seconded by Effling; motion carried. No election to be held for 2013 year.
The next meeting will be April 3, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. in the Artesian Community Center.
