Woonsocket City Council proceedings
March 4, 2013
The regular meeting of the Woonsocket City Council was called to order by Mayor, Lindy Peterson at 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2013 in the Woonsocket City Council Room with the following members present: Richard Reider, Richard Regynski, John Ames, Don Schmidt, Brandon Goergen and Jim Steichen.
Motion by Goergen, seconded by Regynski, to approve the agenda. Motion carried.
The February 4, 2013 minutes were approved as written.
Motion by Reider, seconded by Schmidt, to approve the Financial Statement. Motion carried.
The Annual Report was accepted as written.
Motion by Ames, seconded by Steichen, to approve the following bills.

OLD BUSINESS
Council discussed the dock.
Council discussed the Employee Evaluations.
Council discussed the Audit. Motion by Regynski, seconded by Goergen, to accept the findings of ELO. Motion carried.
Council discussed the mowers up for surplus sale.
Council discussed the Cemetery Road.
Council discussed one in meters. The meters that are needed to have everyone on the same meter will be ordered.
Council discussed the pool.
Council discussed Christmas lights.
Motion by Goergen, seconded by Schmidt, to approve the second reading of the Finance Officer Ordinance. Motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS
Council discussed the 2012 Water Report.
Council will meet as a local Equalization Board on March 18 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Room.
Council discussed a central air unit.
Council approved a 5k walk/run which will be sponsored by the Methodist/Lutheran Youth Group.
Council discussed the old water tower.
Council discussed snow routes/truck routes.
Council discussed a new computer for the shop and water meters.
Council discussed a request from Active Bodies Creative Center. A letter of support was written for this program.
With no further business to be discussed, motion by Reider, seconded by Steichen to adjourn the meeting. Meeting was adjourned at 8:40 p.m.
