Stephanie Ann Beigh, age 31, of Stickney, died Monday, Sept. 2, 2013 in Avera McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 9 in St. Wilfrid Catholic Church, Woonsocket, with burial in the Woonsocket Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8 in St. Wilfrid Catholic Church with a prayer service beginning at 7 p.m.
Stephanie Katz, daughter of Tim and Rita (Herdman) Katz, was born Oct. 27, 1981 at Sioux Falls. She grew up in Woonsocket and graduated from Woonsocket High School in 2000. She attended Southeast Tech at Sioux Falls, earning degree in medical transcription. She was currently employed at Alivant in Plankinton.
Stephanie was united in marriage to Casey Beigh on July 20, 2002. The couple lived at Sioux Falls, Mitchell, Tea and then moved to Stickney in 2006.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Stickney. Stephanie loved camping, fishing, shopping, hanging out with friends, but most of all loving and taking care of her husband, three children and the rest of her family.
Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Casey; her three children, Alecia, Hayden and Macey of Stickney; her parents, Tim and Rita Katz, Woonsocket; two sisters, Misty (Troy) Williams, Hayti, and Tiffany (Chris) Ogle, Faulkton; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Gary and Randee Beigh, Woonsocket; sister-in-law, Crystal (John) Vanden Hoek, Stickney; her maternal grandparents, Claire and Betty McBride, Huron; paternal grandparents, Allen and Shirley Katz, Huron; and many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Morris Herdman.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Stephanie’s name at the Farmer’s & Merchants Bank of Stickney.
Arrangements are under the direction of Basham Funeral Service, Woonsocket.
