Barbara Brisbine, 66, of Minneapolis, Minn., died Dec. 30, 2013 at the University of Minnesota Fairview Hospital.
A memorial service was held Saturday at the United Methodist Church, Woonsocket, with Rev. Rhonda Wellsandt-Zell officiating.
Barbara was born Jan. 10, 1947 to Phyllis (Bratsberg) and Tom R. Brisbine, Sr. at St. Joseph Hospital in Mitchell. A lifelong traveler, Barbara enjoyed her adventures all over Europe, Australia and her most recent trip to the Caribbean in December 2013. She enjoyed the arts and held season tickets to the Minnesota Orchestra and the Guthrie for many years. With the help of a great friend and caregiver, Pam Hill, Barbara was able to enjoy her last years of life. She was an avid reader and her philanthropic spirit continues to live on through her generous donations.
