Mayor Chada called the meeting to order with Ackman, Knutson, Hoffman and Hohbach in attendance. Terry Aakers, SPN, also met with the board.
Reports:
WATER/SEWER: Aakers discussed what needs to be completed before the bid letting with the board.  He also presented the engineering agreement to the board.  A motion made by Knutson, seconded by Hoffman, carried, to approve the agreement.
Discussion was held on the purchasing of land for the new lift station.
Streets: Discussion was held on complaints of people driving on boulevard areas.
COMMUNITY CENTER: Hoffman indicated that we would not be in need of anyone to shovel sidewalks this year.
A motion was made by Hoffman, seconded by Knutson, carried, to approve the financial reports as presented.
A motion was made by Knutson, seconded Hoffman, carried, to approve the October minutes as read.
Old business: Nothing was determined as to the purchase of additional property and buildings.
No further information was available on the boiler replacement at the water house.
New Business: Ackman informed the board of Santel’s offer of gift cards if someone mentions our name when they sign up for new service.
A motion by Hoffman, seconded by Knutson, carried, to not ask for an insurance audit or accept terrorism insurance this year.
A motion was made by Knutson, seconded by Hoffman, to approve the following claims:
Fire: Town $560.02 booster for Community Center, A-Ox Welding $17.62 supplies, Santel Communications $28.29;
WATER/SEWER: Scott Supply $152.83 repairs, Dick’s Welding $200.00 repairs, SD Department of Revenue $202.00 testing, Clayton’s Repair $2,008.70 repairs, Santel Communications $57.45, Dakota Rural Water $2,123.50, Postmaster $46.00, Payroll $1,430.73;
GENERAL: Clayton’s Repair $894.49 Repairs, JAHWCK $619.80 West Nile, Santel Communications $36.10, Miedema $80.00, Postmaster $46.00.
The next meeting will be held on December 4th.
