Diane Rose Roth, 69, passed away Monday, Nov. 28, 2016.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Dec. 3, at 10 a.m. at St. Martin’s Lutheran Church in Alexandria. Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 2, beginning at 5:30 p.m., followed by a 7 p.m. prayer service at Kinzley Funeral Home in Salem.
Diane was born June 29, 1947, in Pender, Neb., to Harry and Darlene (Brehmer) Novak. As the family grew, they moved to a small farm just north of Hurley.
She loved living on the farm, tending to a large garden, being a housewife, cooking up meals and baking from scratch. She also adored all the time spent with her grandchildren.
Diane is survived by her six children, Lonnie (Kathy) Roth of Faribault, Minn., Lorrie (Tim) Wiebelhaus of Letcher, Ronnie (Renee) Roth of Alexandria, Karmon (John) Hoiten of Canistota, Kevin Roth of Mitchell, and Danny (Michel) Roth of Alexandria; sixteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bob, Duane and Leonard; and grandsons, Colan and Michael.
