Dale Robert Dobson, 84, of Kingsland, Texas, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at his home.
Dale’s family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
He was born Aug. 9, 1932, in Sioux Falls to Sid and Grace Dobson and attended Letcher High School.
Dale was an Army veteran and served in the Korean War. He owned a plumbing company in Sioux Falls and in Fort Collins, Colo. He was a chief building inspector in Seattle, Wash., and was on the National ICBO board. He loved to hunt, fish and travel.
Dale is survived by his wife of 17 years, Shirley Dobson; former wife, Anna Goethals Dobson; three children, Keith (Tammy Staford) Dobson of Cheyenne, Wyo., Teri (Marvin) Mitzel of Wellington, Colo., and Tracy (Kevin) Mill of Fort Collins, Colo.; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Vera (Lyle) Bloedow of Springfield, Minn.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Dobson; a daughter-in-law, Karen Dobson; and grandsons, William Dobson and Nathan Dobson.
