After graduation, Jerome and family moved to Huron where he worked for the Music Center until his retirement at age 62.
On Dec. 29, 1981, his wife, Avis, passed away. He later remarried Shirley Brown on Jan. 20, 1984. Jerome and Shirley moved to SunQuest Village in 2007. Shirley passed away in 2012. Jerome moved to Violet Tschetter Memorial Home in 2015, where he resided until his passing.
