The Mid Dakota Rural Water System (MDRWS) intends to file an application for federal financial assistance with the U. S. Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, Rural Utilities Service. The project includes constructing a new 2.5 million gallon water tower next to the existing one at Highmore, S.D., replacing three separate sections of water main with 24-inch parallel pipe and construct a new pump station to replace an existing one at Wolsey, S.D. These improvements will cost $17,845,000.00. MDRWS will also be refinancing approximately $12,426,633.87 in current debt. Total project cost is $30,574,349.87.
