A meeting of the Woonsocket City Council was called to order by Mayor Lindy Peterson, Monday, April 3, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. with the following members present: John Ames, Jim Steichen, Richard Regynski, Richard Reider, Joel Rassel and Brandon Goergen.
Motion by Rassel, seconded by Goergen, to approve the agenda. Motion carried.
Motion by Ames, seconded by Steichen, to approve the March 6, 2017, Minutes. Motion carried.
Motion by Regynski, seconded by Rassel, to approve the March 20, 2017, Minutes. Motion carried.

Council discussed the upcoming Election.
Council discussed the cold storage.
Council discussed the Streets. Accepted a proposal from Clark Engineering in the amount of $18,863.00 to fix several pot holes and spider web areas. Motion carried.
Council discussed hiring a city employee. Interviews will be set up.
Council discussed a bill for the demolition of the Mason Building. Bills will be given to Larson and Nipe.
NEW BUSINESS
Motion by Regynski, seconded by Rassel, to approve the first reading of Ordinance 93-13 Telephone Franchise. Motion carried.
Council discussed a planter that the community club is purchasing.

Council discussed the City Wide Cleanup. It will be held May 18 with the rain date of May 25.

Council discussed Bike Across America.
With no further business to be discussed. Motion by Reider, seconded by Regynski, to adjourn the meeting. Meeting was adjourned at 9:35 p.m.
