NOTICE OF JOINT PUBLIC HEARING

ORDINANCE # 2021-3

A TEMPORARY ORDINANCE REGARDING THE ISSUANCE OF LOCAL MEDICAL CANNABIS ESTABLISHMENT PERMITS AND/OR LICENSES

The Sanborn County Planning Commission and the Board of Sanborn County Commissioners will hold a  joint public hearing on June 15, 2021, at 9:00 a.m. at the Sanborn County Courthouse located at County Courthouse, Commissioners Room, Woonsocket, S.D. All interested persons are encouraged to attend in person and comment on Ordinance #2021-3, A temporary ordinance regarding the issuance of local medical cannabis establishment permits and/or licenses. After the public hearing, the Planning Commission may pass a resolution recommending approval of Ordinance #2021-3, with or without amendment, to the Board of County Commissioners. The Board of County Commissioners may have first reading of Ordinance #2021-3 by title and set a second reading date.

The proposed Ordinance #2021-3 will be made available for public inspection at the Sanborn County Auditor’s Office, Woonsocket, S.D., and online at http://www.districtiii.org/district/sanborn.php pursuant to SDCL Section 11-2 and amendments thereto.
