Stephanie Torkelson and Vincent Austerman were married on May 25, 2013 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Mitchell by Father Michael Schnieder.
Parents of the couple are Roger and Jan Torkelson of Howard and Bill and Kathy Austerman of Artesian.
The maid of honor was Alex Grode. Bridesmaids were Rachel Austerman, Ashley Auch, Brooke Zoss, Melissa Kleinsasser and Stephanie Stevens. Personal attendant was Amanda Austerman.
The best man was Phillip Austerman. Groomsmen were Ted Austerman, Jeremy Torkelson, Thad Austerman, Dave Grassel and Tyler Moore. Ushers were Zachary Torkelson, Cody Torkelson, David Unterbrunner and Josh Siegle.
A reception and dance was held in the Highland Conference Center at Mitchell.
Stephanie is a 2007 Howard High School graduate and a 2012 Dakota State University graduate. She is currently teaching at St. Thomas Catholic School in Madison.
Vince is a 2006 Sanborn Central High School graduate and a 2008 Mitchell Technical Institute graduate and is currently working at Beers farms.
