An open house was held on Sunday in the Artesian Community Center to honor Kathy and Dick Nelson of Artesian on their 40th wedding anniversary.
The event was hosted by their five children: Sandra and Mark Vogel, Abby and Alexis of Bloomington, Minn.; Daniel and Andrea Nelson and Elsie of Elk Point; Angie and David Titze and Lora of Mitchell; Heather and Jeremy Miller, Adyn and Gavyn of Rapid City; and Mark and Brenda Nelson, Zachary and Colton of Artesian.
Other family members attending were Kathy’s brother, Jack De Vaney of Dell Rapids, Kathy’s cousin, Dan and Joan De Vaney of Dell Rapids, Rod and Mary Titze of Mitchell and many friends.
