Lila Faye Lindsey, 77, of Damascus, Ore., passed away Oct. 30, 2015, in Clackamas, Ore.
A memorial service was held Friday, Nov. 6 at the Bateman Carroll Funeral Home in Gresham, Ore.
Lila was born on Jan. 24, 1938, in Mitchell to James and Agnes (Ettswold) Davis. She was raised in Letcher and graduated from Letcher High School.
She married Gary Lindsey on June 6, 1957, in Mitchell, and the couple moved to Oregon that same year. Lila was a banker for over 30 years. She enjoyed watching old movies.
Lila is survived by her husband, Gary, of Damascus, Ore.; daughters, Kim Jarrard of Clatskanie, Ore., and Shari Moritz of Vancouver, Wash.; sons, Jerry Lindsey of Damascus, Ore., and Larry Lindsey of Indianapolis, Ind.; sister, Donna Runestad of Greensburg, Penn.; sister-in-law, Joanne Davis of Sioux Falls; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Diabetes Association.
