The Sanborn County Commissioners met in regular session on Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at 9:00 a.m. with Chairman Ebersdorfer presiding. Other members present were: S. Larson, Ohlrogge, Blindauer, and P. Larson. Also present was Auditor Larson. Motion by Blindauer, seconded by Ohlrogge, to accept the minutes as presented. All ayes. Motion carried.
Hightway: Lee Goergen, Highway Superintendent/Weed Supervisor, and Sheri Kogel, Administrative Assistant, met with the board to discuss wages and benefits. Motion by P. Larson, seconded by Blindauer, that, beginning November 2, the Highway Department will resume working eight hours per day Monday through Friday. All ayes. Motion carried.
Plat: Penny Farris, Director of Equalization, presented a plat for Mike Brosnan for a Plat of Addie and Stella Addition in NE/4 32-108-61. By recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Board, motion by Ohlrogge, seconded by P. Larson, to approve the plat. All ayes. Motion carried.
Cremation: Motion by P. Larson, seconded by S. Larson, to approve cremation for a county burial at the price of $2,247.00. This compares with the amount of a casket burial. All ayes. Motion carried.
Longetivity: Motion by Blindauer, second Ohlrogge, to pay longevity pay to all employees who are eligible for benefits and have been employed for five years in the amount of $250.00 per year up to 30 years for the year 2015. All ayes. Motion carried.
Bills: Motion by S. Larson, seconded by Ohlrogge, to pay the following bills. All ayes. Motion carried.
