Leona M. Meyers, 85, of Lisbon, N.D., died Saturday, March 5, 2016, in CHI Lisbon Health.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 10 at 2 p.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home in Lisbon.
Leona was born May 25, 1930, in Haywarden, Iowa, to Merle and Berniece (Jensen) Storts. She attended school in Haywarden.
She married Darrell Woodhouse in 1948, and they lived in Hecla.
On March 24, 1953, Leona married Robert Meyers in Woonsocket, and they lived in Huron. She later moved to Lisbon in 2006.
Leona is survived by her children, Mike Woodhouse of Biloxi, Miss., Kathy (Clark) Peterson of Lisbon, N.D., Renee (Kevin) Meyers of Huron, Randall (Becky) Meyers of Huron, Lori (Don) Dailey of Mandan, N.D., David (Molly) Meyers of Huron, and Darla (Loren) McCain of Oakes, N.D.; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Timothy Woodhouse; two sisters, Donna Payseno and Betty Anderson; and a granddaughter, Emily.
