The Town ‘n Kountry Kids 4-H Club – Blue Group met on Nov. 4 in the Letcher Community Center.  The meeting was called to order by President Riley Zoss with 16 members present.
The secretary’s report was read by Meghan Chada. Bailey Moody read the treasurer’s report. Committee reports were given by Madi Moody on the Halloween Party and Riley Zoss on the fire safety dinner.  The American Education Week committee of Bailey Moody, Madi Moody, Haley Degen and Brady Larson reported their planned activities for AEW at Sanborn Central.
Old business: The Recognition Event will be Nov. 18 at 2 p.m. in the 4-H Center at Forestburg. All members and volunteers need to complete the online registration.
The club will assist with the Community Vendor Event on Dec. 1 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.  Members assisting will be Meghan Chada, Haley Degen, Jenna Skinner, Michael Hoffman, April Farmer and Renee Farmer.
New Business:  Thanksgiving cards, provided by Jenna Skinner, were colored and signed to send to senior citizens. It was decided to decorate a tree for the Sanborn County Courthouse. The committee will be Chloe SeWall, Chloe Degen and Cole Moody.
The next meeting will be held Nov. 25 at 5 p.m. in the Letcher Community Center. The club will be decorating the center for Christmas. Talks and demonstrations will be given by Jenna Skinner, Haley Degen and Madi Moody.
Prior to the meeting the club sponsored a Fire Safety Dinner. Club members provided a lunch of scalloped potatoes, vegetables, salads and desserts. The club provided free batteries and smoke alarms for the community.  Talks and demonstrations on
