Leslie John Hollingsworth, 82, of Apache Junction, Ariz., and formerly of Woonsocket, passed away at his home on April 5, 2016.
He was laid to rest in Eventide Cemetery at Woonsocket.
Les was born to Elsie (Posey) and Rufus Holllingsworth on Aug. 2, 1933, in Alpena. He served in the U.S. Navy for four years. Following his discharge, he married Marilyn Ammon on Dec. 3, 1954, in Woonsocket.
Les is survived by his wife; sons, Brad (Heather) of Nampa, Idaho, and Kevin (Kristie) of Harbor Springs, Mich.; four grandsons; two great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter; sisters, Doris Horner of Spearfish, and Mary Ellen (Bob) Mitchell of Anchorage, Alaska; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three infant children, John, Cynthia and Allen.
